WHY NEUROSCIENCE COACHING?

Neuroscience is the science behind mind-body connection. It teaches us that if we can dysregulated our nervous system, then we can regulate it; if we can lay down unhelpful neural pathways in our brain then we can rewire helpful and healthy ones. Neuroscience shows us how our brain and nervous system are impacted by our experiences and environment and how the state of our nervous system impacts how we show up, react to, and engage with the world.

 

Many mainstream mental health options only get you so far because they often focus on masking symptoms or just work with the brain. But every symptom you’ve ever had carried a message and did you know that over 80% of the mind-body communication happens from the body to the brain?!

 

Understanding the role our nervous system plays provides context for our experiences and a tangible framework for healing. It helps us to make sense of survival mode and find compassion for our humanness. It is the science of hope.
