Question #1: How to communicate with our family/friends when something they say is triggering
Question #2: How to encourage a loved one who's struggling to take the first steps to heal & take care of themselves
Question #3: What to do when someone else's low energy/low mood is constantly pulling you down

✨ 3 Takeaways from this episode:
Boundaries. Boundaries. Boundaries. Boundaries are an essential skill to cultivate on your healing journey and the more connection you get to your sense of authentic self and the more tools you have for regulation the easier it becomes to source for the things that do or don’t work for you in relation to other people.
You don’t choose to be triggered, AND you cannot control whether someone is or is not willing to make comments or bring up topics that are triggering. So, the approach here is to set clear boundaries and build out your own toolkit for navigating triggers. Take a listen to Episode 10 | How to Recover From Being Triggered for more on this topic
If you have people in your life who are struggling and you’d love to see them take their first steps in healing, hold them compassionately where they are and lead by example. Do your own work to be able to have space for their hard without it totally dysregulating you.
